Silence

“Silence”- The word itself speaks so much. This silence is what some have called Truth, Infinity, Reality, Enlightenment, Nothingness, God, Great or Holy Spirit, True Self, I am, Consciousness and Love. It has a great value, i.e., the peace of mind and purity of heart. Words and only words make a life worthless. It might sound interesting speaking all day and night, but according to me it decreases the value of silence.
Silence gives us the power to think of us as an individual, the power to think about our loved ones, the power to think about our past, present and future, the power to differentiate between right and wrong, the power to achieve our dreams, the power to relate ourselves, the power to get connected to god, the power to give our life a meaning, the power to smile with happiness.
At times words falls short to express or feelings. Then its silence, which overtakes and speaks our heart out creating those magical moments of our life.

Silence is a sign of love……
………When the only sound you can hear is the breath of your partner when you have the first kiss of your life and words fall short to express your love to your partner, then you just look into his eyes with the sign of joy, a sign of shyness and a sign of self surrender to your partner.

Silence is a sign of adore…
…When a mother adores her newborn baby in her hands for the very first time, she goes speechless. A tear flow down her beautiful eyes overwhelmed in joy followed with a wonderful everlasting smile…

Silence is a sign of pride…
…………When you hand over your first salary to your parents and touch their feet, there happiness goes beyond what words can express ever. Then it’s their wishes from their heart and eyes filled with joy in science gives your life a meaning.

Silence is a sign of tension………
…When you enter the examination hall of some higher level for the very first time and the moment you await for the question paper all set with your answer script. Your hands more chilled than that of ice, your lips shivering and having Goosebumps. No kind of notice and only silence reigns in the examination hall with a few indifferent glances to each other…

Silence is a sign of gratitude towards your loved ones….
.... When your love gives birth to your child, you are called in to see your little cuddly muddily baby, as you look and hold them (ash twins, here) in your hands the feeling of ecstasy of being a father reflecting on your face with that smile, and a thank you expression on the face for your wife, its chook very cute. Silence then is the best way (if not the only way) to communicate.

All that you need, all that you seek, all that you hope and long for is contained in this silence.
Confucius:
Silence is the true friend that never betrays.
Francis Bacon:
Silence is the virtue of fools.
Mark Twain:
It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.
Martin Luther King, Jr.:
We will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.
Martin Luther King, Jr.:
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.
Martin Luther King, Jr.:
In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends
Robert Roseleaf:
Many attempts to communicate are nullified by saying too much.
Sally Berger:
You never saw a fish on the wall with its mouth shut.
Sam Evensong:
It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and then don't say it.
Sam Rayburn:
No one has a finer command of language than the person who keeps his mouth shut.
Thomas Merton:
It is in deep solitude that I find the gentleness with which I can truly love my brothers. The more solitary I am the more affection I have for them…. Solitude and silence teach me to love my brothers for what they are, not for what they say.
Will Durant:
One of the lessons of history is that nothing is often a good thing to do and always a clever thing to say.

yet to be concluded.
